Water Quality

Annually, the Kennebec Water District supplies roughly a billion gallons of drinking water to seven communities or over 22,000 people. The water Kennebec Water District supplies meets or exceeds all state and federal standards for safety. We achieve this by a commitment to watershed protection, modern treatment techniques, and diligent monitoring and reporting.
